The newly redesigned Scotlight Direct website has been my biggest project to date. Scotlightdirect is an online lighting superstore, selling light fittings the retail and business customers across the UK. The site required a simple and professional design and an easy way for customers to navigate through several product categories The site also required the integration of a payment system and a back end admin system to manage products and orders. The site was designed using xhtml/css and the back end was programmed using PHP and mysql. During this project I worked closely with an SEO company to ensure that the site was well optimized and would appear in good positions in the search engines.

Forsyth's is a long established family butchers and bakery business set in the Scottish Borders. Due to a high demand for there products they often find themselves queues streaching out the door and down the high street. The solution was a website in which customers could place there orders online and choose either to have it delivered direct to their door or packed up and avalible for quick collection at the shop. The site required an easy way for customers to shop for products and pay online, I also designed a custom mangagement system that allows forsyths to keep there web prices up-to-date with there shop systems.

The Innerleithen Music Festival is a yearly music festival, focusing on Scottish traditional music. As a non-profit organisation the IMF required a website which could be easily updated and maintained by members of the volunteer committee. When designing the site I used a combination of PHP and MySQL to create a customised CMS (content management system), this allows every page of the website to be updated through a simple admin interface. The simple design of the site means its easy to change the images to showcase the current years performing artists.
